Invisalign is the revolutionary way to help you get even, straight teeth without noticeable, painful metal braces. Virtually undetectable, Invisalign aligners are made of strong, clear plastic that gradually guide your teeth into perfect alignment. Unlike metal braces, they have no wires or brackets. Tooth impressions are made, from which Invisalign develops customized aligners that will slide directly over your teeth. Aligners are typically worn full time (except when eating or drinking) for 12 to 48 months—no longer than you would wear traditional metal braces. Aligners are replaced every two weeks as your teeth shift into place.
BriteSmile Teeth Whitening
Now you can have significantly whiter teeth in about an hour. Both comfortable and affordable, BriteSmile teeth whitening can make your teeth up to 14 shades lighter and undo years of staining. BriteSmile is safe, effective, fast working, and can be performed only by dental professionals.
VELscope® Cancer Screening
When it comes to oral cancer, early detection leads to more treatment options & better outcomes. VELscope® is a revolutionary hand-held device that helps dentists & hygienists detect potentially cancerous tissue earlier & more easily than before. The VELscope® system works by emitting a safe blue light that makes tissues in your mouth appear fluorescent, revealing abnormalities that might not be visible to the naked eye. In fact, VELscope® is the only non-invasive device clinically proven to help discover otherwise undetectable signs of oral disease.
DiBella Dental Care is certified in VELscope® technologies. Call today to schedule your oral cancer screening–it may change your life!
If you've lost teeth from decay, injury or periodontal (gum) disease, dentures are the solution. Whether partial or full dentures, they're essential not only to your aesthetics, but also your oral health. In addition to allowing you to eat as if you never lost your teeth, dentures protect against facial sagging that would otherwise occur and give you a more aged appearance, as well as promote your natural speech. Denture maintenance, combined with a regular regiment of proper brushing, can guarantee you a comfortable, healthy mouth for the rest of your life. Please call us today to discuss the numerous available options in more detail.
Next Generation Veneers - Lumineers
Most Services Performed
in Our Office!
We know that you would rather not be driving around town for various dental specialty services. So at our office we have a convenient one-location care approach. It is just another way we show our patients how much we care for them!
Veneers are an excellent alternative to crowns and can perfect your smile by masking stains, hiding chips, correcting misalignment, and creating uniformity. We feature LUMINEERS, which can be placed over existing teeth without the removal of any form of tooth structure. Therefore, anesthesia and temporaries are not required. The no-prep technique is perfect for stained, chipped, misaligned or spaced teeth. Bonding porcelain to enamel creates a solid, secure bond.
Dental & Restorative Implants
Dental implants are essentially permanent, attached teeth that replace, partials, bridges or dentures. A titanium implant is permanently attached to your bone and a prosthetic tooth (crown) is attached to the implant. Implants are preferred to bridges because they can improve your bite without damaging neighbouring teeth (like a bridge). Treatment can be finished in 3 to 5 visits over the space of about 4 to 12 months.
We understand your concerns regarding the use of mercury fillings. Accordingly, at our office we have elected to offer our patients the option of using advanced, new fillings made of tooth-colored materials that contain no metals or mercury, instead of traditional silver fillings.
TMJ (Jaw Pain Therapy)
One of the newest fields in dentistry is TMJ/TMD. This is the study of the jaw, joints and the muscles that connect them all. It’s been found that a misaligned jaw can cause many physiological problems, including headaches, jaw pain, neck and shoulder pain, ringing in the ears, and clicking or popping sounds in the jaw joint.
There have been cases where chronic headaches and neck pain have been remedied with TMJ/TMD treatment practically overnight. Oftentimes these issues can be overlooked or misdiagnosed by traditional doctors, leaving patients without a solution. If you think you might have a TMJ disorder, ask yourself these questions:
Do you experience pain in your face or ears or have headaches for which your medical doctor has found no cause?
Do your ears feel muffled or clogged?
Does your jaw hurt or make clicking sounds when chewing?
Do you experience episodes where your jaw feels open or shut?
Do you fell that your upper and lower teeth don’t fit together like they usually do?
If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these, we invite you to consult our practice for further information. Most issues are relatively easy to correct and can involve options to help adjust your bite, including orthodontics for jaw realignment.
Having straight teeth is important for both your health and appearance. We perform a thorough assessment of your teeth with an emphasis on early treatment. We place a high priority on finding the best way to correct teeth that are misaligned as well as jaw position problems. We will implement a program with the appropriate appliance to help normalize the growth of jaws and they reduce the need for extractions of teeth. The earlier we begin treatment, the better chance we have for success.
